      Current Weather:

With breath-taking scenery and a rich cultural heritage, Montenegro still has that genuine ‘off the beaten track’ feeling and is just waiting to be explored.

You will often see Montenegro mentioned in lists of the ‘in’ destinations and “must see before you die”, and there is a reason for this — Montenegro is simply a stunning country oozing with breath-taking scenery, a rich historical and cultural past, a fantastic climate, and the warmest of welcomes. Now is the time to visit this captivating country before it heads into the inevitable mass tourism market like so many of its better-known neighbours.

This meticulously planned tour will bring you the very best that Montenegro has to offer, from the beautiful Adriatic coastline and the traditional mountaintop villages to the picture perfect bay and town at Kotor and Lake Skadar.

      Words from Your Tour Coordinator…

“Having operated this tour successfully for a number of years now, we have opted to re-vamp our Montenegro itinerary for 2020. Now eight days instead of twelve, this program still visits the breath-taking highlights of our previous tour but in a more efficient order, and we’ve even included an overnight in Montenegro’s capital, Podgorica.

Previously, our program has incorporated a two-night stay in neighbouring Dubrovnik, but we have opted to focus on the real highlights of this lesser-visited Balkans jewel. New for 2020 is an excursion to Ostrog Monastery, the most popular pilgrimage site in Montenegro. A monastery of the Serbian Orthodox Church that is situated against an almost vertical cliff face, it retains two 17th century cave-churches that survived a devastating fire. As ever, our tour incorporates some of the region’s most delicious authentic food and wine, with meals taken in local eateries wherever possible, and includes excursions to some of Montenegro’s most extraordinary national parks and picturesque towns. We’ve really homed in on what has made this tour so popular, and we can’t wait to invite you to see for yourself.”
