Slovenia is a stunningly beautifully little country with strong influences in architecture and lifestyle from its central European neighbours and from Italy. This is an opportunity to explore a beautiful country which is yet to be saturated with tourism despite its breathtaking natural landscape and the laid-back lifestyle of its people.

Spend three nights in one of Europe’s greenest and smallest capital cities, Ljubljana, home to only 300,000 inhabitants but also to gorgeous Romanesque and Baroque architecture. Sample traditional, local foods and explore picturesque Bled, where you will spend four nights. Visit stunning cave formations, castles and churches, and indulge in wine tastings in renowned wine regions where the locals will make you feel at home.

New for 2021, this tour is also a chance to see the original Lipizzaner horses in a special performance. This is truly a fantastic opportunity to visit the pocket-sized beauty that is Slovenia on a tour that will introduce you to the many unspoilt delights of the country from the coast to the mountains and through one of the prettiest European capitals.

      Words from Your Tour Coordinator…

“Still a country that most have yet to discover, Slovenia is small but full of stunning beauty. There are few sights in Europe like Lake Bled that have captured a special place in so many travellers’ hearts and caused those lucky enough to visit this hidden gem to return year after year. On this eight day tour, sit back and appreciate the views on a traditional Pletna boat ride across the lake to the baroque church at its centre. The beauty of Slovenia does not stop in Bled, with this tour also venturing to the Slovenian coast, a medieval town with Venetian charm sitting at the end of a Mediterranean peninsula. Explore the winding streets and taste its fresh seafood before Slovenia’s next secret reveals itself to you. Whether it’s a visit to the true home of the iconic Lipizzaner horses, a walk around the prettiest of towns in Ptuj or a tour of a castle built into a rockface, Slovenia has something for everyone. Before the crowds descend on this natural paradise, discover its beauty with Prestige Holidays.”
